WELCOME TO THE PHOTOGRAPHER'S LOUNGE



 Where techniques are explained, new friendships are developed and your photographic journey will be enhanced forever.

The Photographer's Lounge in Waterloo Region is dedicated to providing digital photographers with access to the world’s top destinations, the opportunity to talk one-on-one with the world’s best photography minds, and we strive to make sure our clients are aware of the latest photographic gear available to you today.

At the Lounge we believe that each photographer has their own personal set of goals, and you learn at your own pace , on your budget. For this reason we will structure personalized programs and will work with you to achieve your individual goals. Below you will see we have created many programs to serve as a solid foundation to help us work together to make you a better photographer:

Something we simply call, “The Lounge”. This is where members can come together for meetings a few times a month to learn about techniques from Pro Photographers, try out new products, receive exclusive members only pricing, learn editing and be introduced to other topics dealing with photography. These meetings are held twice a month from September till April each year. Our meetings for the next season will take place from September 2013 and run until the end of April 2014.

A blog that has an abundance of tutorials, shooting ideas, tips and also highlights tours and information on the destinations we are hired to travel to. See the Photographer's Lounge blog here.

Workshops are scheduled locally, domestically and internationally at places familiar to us. All photography workshops are designed by the tours companies that employ us with the photographer in mind.

You will accompany other photographers on workshops with a minimum of one professional photographer and a local English speaking tour guide. The tour companies that hire us are only accredited tour operators to ensure your piece of mind and safety while you are travelling. Once a year we bring in the “Top” photographers from around the world to run seminars. These photographers are chosen because they are teachers in addition to photographers. Their philosophy mirrors ours, “Photography knowledge is to be  shared”
