Our 2013/2014 meetings starting in September of 2013 typically start at 7:00pm and run till 9:00pm on the first and third Wednesday of the months between September and April. But we also have informal discussions and more hands on learning opportunities after our formal meetings.
The location for our meetings in the 2013/2014 season is conveniently located to ensure it is easily accessable for our members from London to Scarborough, as well as our membership base in Kitchener and Cambridge.
The meetings will take place at the following location:

The formal meetings are designed to present you with a photography topic but allow you as much hands on learning as possible for the given topic. These meetings are designed to be interactive and not just a slide show of images by our presenters... It is our goal to make sure you walk away with the knowledge you need to go out and try the photography style that you were introduced to in our meetings.
When the photographers we hire present a topic to you, you are given printed hand outs with information on gear to use for that specific style of photography, information on local locations where you can go and try that style of photography and written tips and tutorials on how to take the photos that you saw during that meeting.
We understand with work schedules and family commitments you cannot attend all the meetings. That is why you will still receive the information that was handed out at the meetings... your learning is a priority for us.
After the formal meeting, the informal discussions with professional and amateur photographers that come to speak to us is a fun time for us to sit around, have a coffee and discuss photography topics that matter to you. This time is often more valuable to photographers as they have a chance to get their questions answered by more experienced photographers in a relaxed atmosphere.
If you go through our calendar for the next meeting season you will notice that we have left three (3) meetings blank. Having been a member of photo clubs in the past, I always thought the paying membership should have more say in who comes to speak, and what topics we cover... Therefore the members will have their say on who we bring and what topics they want to hear about. This is your club just as much as ours... and your opinion matters...
